Celastrina neglectamajor, the Appalachian Azure, is a small in the gossamer-winged Lycaenidae. Males display light blue upperwings with a narrow dark marginal line on the forewing, while the underwing is chalky white with small pale dark spots and a row of marginal dark spots on the hindwing contained by a faint zigzag band. Females are similar in pattern but typically duller in coloration. The was described by Opler & Krizek in 1984 and is native to eastern North America.
