Neodactylota is a of small in the Gelechiidae. The genus contains four described , all named by Hodges in 1966 except N. snellenella, which was described earlier by Walsingham in 1888. These moths belong to the Gelechiinae, one of the largest and most diverse groups within the Gelechiidae. The genus was established by Busck.
