Megachile latimanus is a solitary leafcutter bee in the Megachilidae, native to North America. The was described by Thomas Say in 1823. Like other members of the Megachile, females cut circular pieces from leaves to construct chambers within pre-existing cavities. The "broad-handed leafcutter" refers to morphological features of the forelegs.
