Polyaulon is a of ichneumon wasps in the Ichneumonidae, first described by Förster in 1869. These belong to the diverse superfamily Ichneumonoidea, which contains some of the most -rich groups of parasitoid insects. The genus has been documented from Scandinavian countries, with records from Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.
