Taxonomic note

The name 'Pseudochrysis' has been used in two unrelated contexts: (1) the chrysidid Pseudochrysis Semenov, 1891 (Hymenoptera), and (2) as a specific epithet in the scarab beetle Macraspis pseudochrysis Landin, 1956 (Coleoptera). These represent entirely different in different insect orders and should not be confused.
