Cacopsylla peregrina is a of , or jumping plant louse, in the Psyllidae. Psyllids are small, plant-feeding insects within the suborder Sternorrhyncha, closely related to aphids, , and whiteflies. Like other members of its family, C. peregrina feeds by penetrating plant phloem and sucking sap. The species was first described by Foerster in 1848.
