Plinthisinae is a of dirt-colored seed bugs ( Rhyparochromidae) containing two : the Bosbequius (single B. latus) and Plinthisus, which includes more than 100 species. The subfamily was established by Slater & Sweet in 1961. Members are part of the lygaeoid radiation within the true bugs.
