Pinalitus rubricatus

Pinalitus rubricatus is a plant bug in the Miridae, first described by Fallen in 1807. The species has a transcontinental distribution spanning the Palearctic region and North America. It is one of approximately 40 species in the Pinalitus, which are primarily associated with woody vegetation.

Distribution

Palearctic region (Europe, Northern Asia including Siberia, Sakhalin and Kurile Islands, China); North America (Canada: Newfoundland; USA: New York, Pennsylvania). Specific records from Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Tirol, and China (Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Sichuan).
