Taxonomic note

Catalogue of Life lists Mallochiola as a synonym under Diptera (Tachinidae), but this appears to be a homonym conflict. The accepted usage for the hemipteran follows Bergroth, 1925, not Strand, 1932. GBIF and iNaturalist recognize Mallochiola Bergroth, 1925 as the valid genus in Microphysidae.
