Noeetini

Noeetini is a tribe of fruit flies within the family Tephritidae, subfamily Tephritinae. The tribe comprises seven recognized genera: Acidogona, Ensina, Hypenidium, Jamesomyia, Noeeta, Paracanthella, and Trigonochorium. These flies are part of the diverse radiation of tephritid fruit flies, many of which are associated with plants and have ecological or agricultural significance. The type genus Noeeta was established by Robineau-Desvoidy in 1830.
