Berkshiria is a of soldier flies in the Stratiomyidae, established by Johnson in 1914. The genus contains two described : B. albistylum (North America) and B. hungarica (Europe). It belongs to the Pachygastrinae, a group of small to medium-sized stratiomyid flies often associated with decaying organic matter.
