Contarinia cerasiserotinae is a of gall midge in the Cecidomyiidae. It is one of numerous Contarinia species that induce galls on plants. The species was described by Osten Sacken in 1871 and has been recorded in the northeastern United States, particularly Vermont. As with other gall midges, the larvae develop within plant tissue, causing characteristic gall formations.
