Andrenosoma igneum is a of robber fly in the Asilidae, Laphriinae. It is one of several species in the Andrenosoma, which reaches its greatest diversity in the Neotropics. Like other laphriine robber flies, its larvae are of wood-boring larvae. The species was described by Bromley in 1929.
