Leptoplectus pertenuis is a small rove beetle ( Staphylinidae) in the Pselaphinae, a group commonly known as ant-loving beetles. The was described by Casey in 1884 under the basionym Euplectus pertenuis. It is recorded across much of the eastern and central United States.
