Siagonium punctatum is a of flat rove beetle in the Staphylinidae, Piestinae. It was first described by J.L. LeConte in 1866 under the basionym Prognatha punctata. The species is known from scattered records across eastern North America, with additional occurrences in the southwestern United States, Mexico, and southern Canada. Like other members of the Siagonium, it exhibits the characteristic dorsoventrally flattened body form that distinguishes this group within the rove beetles.
