Stamnoderus

Stamnoderus is a genus of rove beetles (Staphylinidae) in the subfamily Paederinae, tribe Lathrobiini, subtribe Stilicopsina. The genus was described by Sharp in 1886 and contains small to medium-sized beetles found in various terrestrial habitats. Members of this genus are characterized by their compact body form and reduced elytra typical of the family. The genus has been documented through approximately 90 iNaturalist observations, indicating moderate but scattered occurrence records.
