Deleaster is a of rove beetles (Staphylinidae) in the Oxytelinae. The genus was established by Erichson in 1839 and contains at least seven described distributed across Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania, and North America. Species-level has been revised for Western Palaearctic representatives, with D. bactrianus Semenov, 1900 synonymized with D. bergi Kastcheev, 1999. The genus belongs to the tribe Deleasterini.
