Bolitobius cingulatus is a rove beetle (Staphylinidae) in the Mycetoporinae. The has a broad native distribution across Europe and northern Asia, and has been introduced to North America where it is now established across much of Canada and the northern United States. Records from iNaturalist suggest it is regularly encountered but not particularly abundant.
