Amischa is a of rove beetles (Staphylinidae: Aleocharinae) described by Carl Gustaf Thomson in 1858. The genus has distribution, with documented in Europe including Ukraine, Scandinavia, and Denmark. At least five species are recognized: A. analis, A. bifoveolata, A. decipiens, A. nigrofusca, and A. paolettii. As members of the tribe Athetini, these are small, cryptic beetles typical of leaf litter and soil .
