Anelastes is a of click beetles in the Eucnemidae, tribe Anelastini. Members of this genus are classified within the Phyllocerinae. The genus was established by William Kirby in 1819. Anelastes belongs to a group of beetles commonly known as false click beetles, distinguished from true click beetles (Elateridae) by morphological features of the prosternal process.
