Elathous is a of click beetles ( Elateridae) comprising 48 described . The genus exhibits a disjunct distribution: seven species occur in the , 39 in the West Palearctic from Morocco to Iran, and two in Japan. The genus was established by Reitter in 1890 and is classified in the Dendrometrinae.
