Orthoris

Orthoris is a genus of weevils in the family Curculionidae, established by John Lawrence LeConte in 1876. The genus is currently accepted but poorly documented, with no observations recorded in iNaturalist and limited published information available. As a member of Curculionoidea, species in this genus possess the characteristic rostrum (elongated snout) typical of weevils. The genus appears to be rarely encountered or potentially of restricted distribution.
