Calitys is a of bark beetles in the Trogossitidae, representing the sole member of the Calityinae. The genus was established by Thomson in 1859 and contains two confirmed : Calitys scabra (native to Europe and North America) and Calitys minor (native to North America). These beetles inhabit coniferous bark environments where they feed on fungi. Reports from South Africa remain disputed.
