Chaetocnema aequabilis is a flea beetle in the Chrysomelidae, described by R. White in 1996 as part of his revision of the Chaetocnema in North America. As a member of the tribe Alticini, it possesses enlarged hind adapted for jumping. The is one of approximately 30 Chaetocnema species recorded from North America north of Mexico.
