Paria is a of leaf beetles in the Chrysomelidae, Eumolpinae. The genus contains approximately 40 described distributed across North and South America, with 19 species recorded north of Mexico. Paria is closely related to and morphologically similar to the genus Typophorus. Species in this genus are herbivorous, feeding on plant foliage.
