Calligrapha wickhami is a leaf beetle in the subgenus Erythrographa (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae, Chrysomelinae), distinguished by reddish testaceous coloration extending to dark body parts including elytral markings. It is the only species in this subgenus not found in Mexico, being restricted to southern Texas. Identification
Members of the subgenus Erythrographa, including C. wickhami, can be distinguished from other Calligrapha by reddish testaceous coloration extending to dark parts of the body including elytral markings, presence of two spots enclosed by the humeral lunule, and a bifid end of the in male genitalia. The is the only member of its subgenus known from the United States rather than Mexico.
