Meibomeus

Meibomeus is a genus of seed beetles containing approximately 12 described species. The genus was established by Bridwell in 1946. Species in this genus are found in the New World, with host plant associations recorded for several species, though specific host identities remain incompletely documented. The genus is classified in the family Chrysomelidae, though some sources historically placed it in Bruchidae.
