Neoalosterna is a of longhorn beetles in the Cerambycidae, Lepturinae. It was established by Podaný in 1961 and contains two : N. capitata and N. rubida. The genus belongs to the tribe Lepturini, a group commonly known as flower longhorns due to their frequent association with flowers.

Taxonomic history

Neoalosterna was described as a subgenus of Alosterna by Podaný in 1961. Some sources, including iNaturalist, continue to list it at subgenus rank, while Catalogue of Life and GBIF recognize it as a full . The two included were originally described in other genera: N. capitata as Leptura capitata Newman, 1841, and N. rubida as Leptura rubida LeConte, 1873.
