Eucradinae is a of small beetles within the Ptinidae, commonly referred to as death-watch and spider beetles. The subfamily contains at least five and approximately 18 described . Members were formerly classified under the family Anobiidae, which has since been reclassified as Ptinidae. The group includes genera such as Eucrada, Hedobia, and Neohedobia.

Taxonomic history

Eucradinae was formerly placed in the Anobiidae. The Hedobiinae was historically grouped with Anobiinae and others under Anobiidae, but the family name has been revised to Ptinidae.

Five are recognized in Eucradinae: Clada Pascoe, 1887; Eucrada LeConte, 1861; Hedobia Dejean, 1821; Neohedobia Fisher, 1919; and Ptinomorphus Mulsant & Rey, 1868.
