Scytodes alayoi

A of spitting spider in the Scytodidae, to Cuba and Mexico. Like other members of its , it possesses highly modified venom glands that produce both paralytic venom and a sticky adhesive secretion used to immobilize prey. The species was described in 1977 by Cuban arachnologist Alayón.
