Polyphagotarsonemus is a of tarsonemid mites in the Tarsonemidae. The genus includes the economically significant broad mite, Polyphagotarsonemus latus, a pest of greenhouse and field crops. Members of this genus are microscopic plant-feeding mites with exceptionally broad ranges spanning numerous plant families.
