Neonemobius near-mormonius is a small ground cricket in the family Trigonidiidae, characterized by its diminutive size and cryptic coloration. The species is part of a genus of tiny crickets commonly known as "ground crickets" or "pygmy crickets" that inhabit leaf litter and ground-level vegetation. Like other members of Neonemobius, it produces high-frequency calling songs that are often inaudible to unaided human hearing.
