Macrocera clara
Macrocera clara is a species of fungus gnat in the family Keroplatidae, described by Loew in 1870. Like other members of this family, it belongs to a group of small, delicate flies whose larvae typically inhabit moist environments and feed on fungal mycelia. The genus Macrocera contains numerous species that are often challenging to distinguish without close examination.
