Desmiphora aegrota
Desmiphora aegrota is a species of longhorn beetle in the family Cerambycidae, first described by Henry Walter Bates in 1880. The species belongs to the genus Desmiphora, an exclusively New World group characterized by distinctive tufts of erect hairs. It is known from the southern United States and Panama, with records also from Costa Rica and Guatemala.
