Stylifera gigantea is a of silverfish in the Lepismatidae. It is one of the largest known silverfish, with a body length reaching up to approximately 40 mm. The species occurs in the Caribbean region and parts of North America. Like other members of Zygentoma, it is a primitive wingless insect with a flattened body and three long caudal filaments.
