Appearance
Wingspan 15–17 mm. Forewings whitish with reddish fuscous overlay; large ill-defined reddish-brown spot on the , with similar spot at end of cell. Black costal and spots above and below the cell-end spot. Small black streak on the fold. Series of ill-defined black spots around and terminal margin. Hindwings light fuscous.
