Hercus fontinalis is a of ichneumon in the Ichneumonidae. The species was described by Holmgren in 1857. Two are recognized: H. f. flavens and H. f. fontinalis. It belongs to the Hercus, a group of ichneumonid wasps whose remains poorly documented.
