Townes, 1960

Zaglyptus pictilis is a of ichneumon described by Townes in 1960. It belongs to the Zaglyptus, a group of wasps within the large Ichneumonidae. The species is known from limited collection records and appears to be rarely encountered in the field. As with other Zaglyptus species, it is presumed to be a parasitoid of lepidopteran larvae, though direct records for this specific species remain undocumented.
