Gambrus polyphemi

Gambrus polyphemi is a species of ichneumon wasp described by Townes in 1945. It belongs to the family Ichneumonidae, one of the largest families of wasps, whose members are primarily parasitoids of other insects. The species is rarely documented, with only six observations recorded on iNaturalist. Like other members of the genus Gambrus, it likely functions as a parasitoid, though specific host associations for this species remain undocumented.
