Distribution

North America. Distribution records indicate presence across the continent, though specific range boundaries are not well documented.

Life Cycle

As a member of the Andrena, this is expected to follow the typical mining bee : solitary females excavate underground burrows, provision nest with pollen and nectar, lay , and seal cells with soil. Larvae develop underground and emerge as the following spring. This inference is based on genus-level traits common to all Andrena species.
