Exodontha is a of soldier flies ( Stratiomyidae, Antissinae) established by Camillo Rondani in 1856. The genus contains at least two described : Exodontha dubia (Zetterstedt, 1838) and Exodontha luteipes (Williston, 1885). It belongs to the diverse group of non-biting flies commonly known as soldier flies, characterized by their often -like or -like appearance.
