Taeniaptera lasciva is a of stilt-legged fly in the Micropezidae, characterized by its elongated legs and distinctive wing patterns. The species is distributed across much of Brazil and includes two recognized : T. l. lasciva and T. l. obliterata. First described by Fabricius in 1798, it remains a relatively understudied member of this family of true flies.
