Phaenobezzia is a of biting midges in the Ceratopogonidae, established by Haeselbarth in 1965. The genus contains more than 20 described and is classified within the tribe Palpomyiini. Like other Ceratopogonidae, members of this genus are small, blood-feeding or predatory flies. The genus has been recorded from parts of Europe including Norway and Sweden.
