Brachygluta foveata is a small rove beetle in the Pselaphinae, commonly known as ant-loving beetles. Originally described as Bryaxis foveata by LeConte in 1851, it was later transferred to Brachygluta. Two junior synonyms, B. loripes and B. jacobina, were synonymized with this in a 2015 revision of North American Brachygluta. A lectotype was designated for this species to stabilize its .
