Brachygluta belfragei is a small rove beetle in the Pselaphinae, a group commonly known as ant-loving beetles. It is one of 29 Nearctic in the Brachygluta. The species was originally described as Bryaxis belfragei by LeConte in 1880 and later transferred to Brachygluta. A lectotype was designated for this species in a 2015 taxonomic revision.
