Panaphantina is a subtribe of rove beetles (Staphylinidae) in the Pselaphinae, established by Jeannel in 1950. These beetles belong to the tribe Trichonychini, a diverse group of small, often myrmecophilous or termitophilous beetles. Members of Panaphantina are characterized by their compact body form and reduced wing venation typical of pselaphine beetles. The subtribe is documented from 77 iNaturalist observations, indicating limited but present field documentation.
