Mayetiini is a tribe of minute rove beetles (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Pselaphinae) established by Scheerpeltz in 1925. The tribe includes the Mayetia, which contains at least three and macrophthalmic : M. peruana and M. atlantica from the Neotropics, and M. nepalensis from the Oriental region. The tribe was first recorded from Brazil in 2022 with the description of M. atlantica from Atlantic Forest remnants.

Distribution

Neotropical and Oriental regions. In the Neotropics: Peru (M. peruana) and Brazil (M. atlantica from Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, and Bahia states). The Brazilian record represents the southernmost occurrence of Mayetia in the New World. Oriental region: Nepal (M. nepalensis).
