More Details
Taxonomic history
Described as a new (sp. n.) in the 2002 revision by Assing. The revision rejected the existing subgeneric classification system but did not formally synonymize subgenera because species from other zoogeographic regions had not yet been revised. Holarctic species were instead assigned to five species groups.
Data limitations
As a newly described in 2002, specific biological and ecological data for A. brevios were not provided in the original description beyond taxonomic diagnostic characters. The species is known from few specimens with limited associated collection data.
