Dichotomius carolinus, commonly known as the Carolina copris or Carolina Dung Beetle, is a of dung beetle in the Scarabaeidae. It is native to the Americas and has been introduced to Hawaii. The species was first described by Linnaeus in 1767 under the basionym Scarabaeus carolinus.
