Dromaeolus is a of beetles in the Eucnemidae, first described by Kiesenwetter in 1858. It belongs to the Macraulacinae and tribe Macraulacini. Members of this genus are part of the false click beetles, a group characterized by their inability to perform the characteristic clicking jump of true click beetles (Elateridae). The genus has been recorded from Norway and Sweden.
